Melbourne forward Russell Robertson will make his long awaited return to AFL when he lines up against the Cats on Sunday afternoon.

In what will be his first match for almost a year, Robertson will return full of confidence, having fully recovered from the ruptured achilles that cruelly ended his 2008 campaign.

In a move which will bolster the Dees' forward line, Robertson comes into the team following a strong five goal haul playing for the Casey Scorpions.

In other additions to the team, livewire forward Addam Maric will make his 2009 debut after being named to play on the half forward flank.  Maric has been impressive in recent weeks, with three consistent performances playing for Casey in the VFL.  Hard-at-it backman Kyle Cheney is the other inclusion, and has been named on the extended interchange.

Defender Clint Bartram will cap off an emotional week when he plays his 50th AFL game.

Melbourne will name its final 22 tomorrow at 5:00 pm, so stay tuned to melbournefc.com.au for all the details.
