MELBOURNE has a new time trial champion with Harry Sharp taking out the 2km. 

The Demons completed the trial first thing Monday morning, with Sharp keeping his cool in his new colours. 

Second-year Demon Kynan Brown finished runner up, with veteran Tom McDonald showing his pre-season experience coming in third. 

Kade Chandler and Tom Sparrow rounded out the top five.
