The latest injury news from the AFLW demons.
“Paxy won't be available this week, she's managing that foot pain that we have mentioned previously,” AFLW High Performance Manager Sam Batterton said.
“She just takes a while to get pain free post a game.
“Once she does, she'll look to integrate into training. It won't be this week against the Hawks but we're optimistic that we'll see her again this season.”
Blaithin Mackin and Lauren Pearce are both available to make the trip to Cairns after successful returns against Richmond.
“It was really great to have them back,” Batterton said.
“Both played their role in the team, and it was good to have them playing footy again.
“They both got through unscathed, so no concerns on their front and they'll be available this week against Hawthorn.”

“It’s obviously such a disappointing outcome, injuring herself so close to the beginning of our season,” Mulholland told Melbourne Media. “Although we are thousands of kilometres away, we are wrapping our arms around Aimee and will offer whatever support we can in these challenging circumstances. “There’s lots to work through as we decide how to approach the rest of the season, however, our thoughts at the moment are focused on Aimee and her recovery.” *Inactive Player Read Article |
