MELBOURNE will welcome a new Demon into its on-field history, with Saraid Taylor set to play her first AFLW game on Saturday.
The Dees will face the Tigers at Casey Fields with Taylor confirmed in the final 21 on Thursday.
The 26-year-old joined the club in 2023 as a cross-coder, coming over with six years of sporting experience as a rookie in the WNBL.
She entered the AFLW world in 2022, signed by Richmond before continuing her footy journey in the VFLW playing seven games for Port Melbourne.
Since arriving at the Dees at the start of last year, Taylor has provided plenty to the Melbourne playing group, her positive energy and determined development an exciting aspect to her footy.
Taylor will line-up in the backline and will look to bring height to the aerial contest in addition to her general athletic ability.
