INS – McNamara
OUTS – Madigan (omitted)

MELBOURNE has made one change to its starting side with Eliza McNamara re-joining the final 21.

McNamara missed last Thursday’s match after a knock to the nose during Week 5, but has proven her fitness and is ready to face Adelaide on Wednesday night.

Delany Madigan has been omitted but joins Jemma Rigoni and Saraid Taylor on the emergency list.

This will mark the first of Melbourne’s two Week 7 matches with the Wednesday clash also the first of the club’s two Pride games.

The AFLW’s fifth instalment of Pride Round was officially launched on Monday with the competition set to celebrate the diversity and inclusion of LGBTQIA+ communities in Australian Football.

Melbourne will face Adelaide and St Kilda during the round, donning the club’s fourth pride guernsey since its inaugural jumper in 2022.

The Dees 2024 pride design retains its famous Melbourne chevron but with several words featuring along the traditional ‘V’. The words adorning the jumper, such as safetyempowerment and support, were captured by players, coaches and staff following an education session run by organisation Minus18.

This jumper represents the club’s journey towards inclusion, and commitment to providing a safe environment for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

For Dees fans who will be making the trip over to South Australia, tickets to the match can be found here.
