Harrison Petty and Caleb Windsor have signed contract extensions that will see them continue to wear red and blue until 2027 and 2028 respectively.

Petty has displayed his versatility playing in a variety of roles across the last two seasons.

Tim Lamb, Melbourne AFL List Manager, was full of praise for the 197cm swingman.

“We’re really pleased that Harry has signed on for another three seasons,” Lamb said

“He is a really valuable asset for us with his ability to play in all areas of the ground and at just 24 years of age, his best football is in front of him.  Harry works as hard as anyone at his craft, and we look forward to seeing him continue to grow his game.”

Windsor, at only 19 years of age, has impressed with his speed and development since debuting earlier this season.

“It is terrific that Caleb has agreed to extend with us. Since coming into the program, he has adapted quickly to life as a professional athlete and his level of performance in his first season has reflected this,” Lamb said of the winger.

“It is a great sign for our program that such a talented young player has signed on and committed to the club long term so early in his career.

“He clearly has natural talent, but it is his work ethic and dedication to improving that gives us great confidence he will continue to grow.

“We are excited for what the next chapter of his career will produce.”

Originally hailing from South Australia, Petty was selected at pick number 37 in the 2017 national draft.

Since making his debut in Round 15 of 2018, the 24-year-old has played 77 games at AFL level, including as a member of the 2021 Premiership side.

Windsor was selected at pick number 7 at the 2023 AFL Draft.

Debuting in Opening Round, he has not missed a game this season and was nominated for a Rising Star award in Round 8 this year.

The exciting news comes on the back of the re-signing of Daniel Turner, who has recently put pen to paper until 2026.
