Assistant coach Mark Williams runs through the 22 players from Melbourne’s 10-point win over the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba on Saturday night

Rohan Bail: Rohan kicked the ball really well and had 17 possessions. He went hard at it all day and had a pretty solid game.

Clint Bartram: Clint was outstanding. His press-up spoils were fantastic and he won some really good contested ball - one in particular was against Jonathan Brown.

Jamie Bennell: Jamie worked really hard again. He created some opportunities, but just needs to finish off his hard work with kicking goals.

Cameron Bruce: Cameron was nice and solid on Luke Power. Bruce had 24 disposals and Power, who is one of their key players, had 11 after 36 possessions last round. He contributed really well and was busy in the midfield. Brucey used the ball really well and he continues to set us up in our counter attacks.

Aaron Davey: Aaron was busy in the midfield and kicked the ball really well, particularly as the game went on in wet conditions. He set us up with counter-attack.

Lynden Dunn: Dunny kicked some really good goals. He used his body really well, when the going got tough. He finished off with a really good long goal to solidify our win.

James Frawley: James was outstanding on Jonathan Brown. He continues to take his game to new levels.

Colin Garland: Col is another who is taking his game to another level. The way he covers the ball and defends is fantastic and the way he presses up and then wins 50/50 balls really gives us confidence.

Brad Green: Brad kicked two ripping goals and had three scoring assists and had another fine game.

Mark Jamar: Mark was outstanding with 33 hit outs and 21 possessions. He got the ball into space and gave us first use throughout the game.

Paul Johnson: Paul was solid. He continually worked his way to the front of the contests and used his bulk to the team’s advantage.

Nathan Jones: Jonesy’s in-and-under work was desperate. He won contested ball, which was fantastic and he was very solid.

Liam Jurrah: Liam couldn’t get into it much. He couldn’t create opportunities for himself, so he could get himself free. His work-rate was still good though.

Joel Macdoald: Joel was very good again. He created a lot of counter attacks in the first half and won press-up spoils and won contested ball. He used the ball really well, behind centre and going forward.

James McDonald: It was great to have James back. He had a really good battle with Simon Black. After eight weeks out, it was a nice, solid return.

Jordie McKenzie: Another outstanding game from Jordie. He had 17 contested possessions from 26 disposals and had nine tackles. Hopefully he’ll get a NAB AFL Rising Star nomination this week or very shortly.

Cale Morton: Cale came in and out of the game. He did some good things, but needs to keep working on the physicality side of his game.

Jared Rivers: Jared was very solid. His press-up spoils were fantastic and he used the ball well.

Tom Scully: Sculls was very busy in the midfield. He was really clean with his hands in the conditions and I thought he used the ball pretty well.

Col Sylvia: Col had another really good game. His work-rate was really good and his contested possession work was excellent. He had 13 contested possessions and also kicked two goals, including a 50-metre plus goal. He was continually involved.

Jack Watts: Jack attacked the ball very well. He worked hard, but he just needed to dispose of the ball better and then I think we’ll see his game continue to go to the next level.

Austin Wonaeamirri: Aussie’s defensive efforts were really good, although he didn’t have a great influence on the game.
