INS - Harmes, Bowey, Brown
OUTS - Hibberd (inj), Jordon (omitted), van Rooyen (omitted), Spargo (Round 15 sub)

MELBOURNE has named three inclusions for its trip to the Red Centre with Ben Brown and Jake Bowey joining James Harmes on the inclusions list as confirmed last night.

Premiership-drought-breaking teammates Harmes and Lever will share their milestone matches as the duo both line up in game 150, while Simon Goodwin will also coach his 150th match.

Veteran forward Ben Brown makes a long-awaited return to the side, last lining up in Round 3 against Sydney before being withdrawn from the Round 4 side with back soreness.

Brown burst out of the blocks in season 2023, kicking bags of four in Rounds 1 and 2 and has been in strong VFL form in recent weeks.

Head coach Simon Goodwin sung his praises in yesterday's media conference.

“Browny has come back into some really good form in the VFL," Goodwin said.

"He has got his body to a really good position."

Meanwhile, Jake Bowey has earned an immediate recall to the senior side following his 27-disposal return in the VFL last weekend.

The Demons' pocket rocket has missed the past two matches after concussion protocols left him out of the side following a brutal collision against Carlton in Round 12.

Harmes recall to the side comes after absences due to personal reasons and suspension and also last played in Round 12 against the Blues.

Courageous defender Michael Hibberd will not make the trip to Alice Springs after lacerating his kidney last week against Geelong.

James Jordon and Jacob van Rooyen have been omitted from the side, while Charlie Spargo was last round's tactical substitute.
