MELBOURNE'S AFLW premiership cup has made its first visit to the Northern Territory.
Ahead of the club's AFL match in Alice Springs on Sunday, Tahlia Gillard and Sinead Goldrick travelled to the Red Centre to celebrate the premiership alongside Dees fans in the NT.
The duo visited Yuelamu, a small town three hours outside of Alice Springs, to participate in a junior football clinic, before teaming up for a senior football match.
University of Melbourne were also in Yuelamu alongside the Dees, with their Indigenous Eye Health Unit (IEHU) implementing their important 'Clean Faces, Strong Eyes' initiative, which looks to prevent Trachoma within local communities.
Milpa, the much-loved 'Clean Faces, Strong Eyes' mascot, was there to help teach the 'Six Steps to Stop Trachoma'.
