INS – Harmes, Sparrow
OUTS – Hunter (susp.), Oliver (inj.), Jordon (Round 10 sub)
NARRM will see the return of two players during this weekend’s clash against Walyalup, with Tom Sparrow and James Harmes named in the Saturday side.
Sparrow has been welcomed back into the starting 22 after a week on the sidelines following a one-match suspension.
Harmes returns after a number of strong displays in the VFL, including a three-goal, 36-disposal game during Round 5.
Lachie Hunter will miss the Saturday action after his one-match sanction was upheld at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night.
It was also confirmed earlier this week that midfielder Clayton Oliver would be sidelined for a short period of time after sustaining a minor hamstring strain.
James Jordon joins Bailey Laurie, Taj Woewodin and Joel Smith on the team’s emergency list.
Narrm will host Walyalup on Saturday for the second week of Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
It will be an historic match at the MCG and will mark the first of its kind – between two clubs who have taken on their traditional language names – on Wurundjeri Country.
To celebrate the momentous occasion, the Demons will have a number of exciting activations for fans to enjoy throughout the day, including the club’s first ever Narrm Market.
Nine First Nations businesses will set up market stalls around the 'G from 11:30am (AEST), displaying a range of different items such as clothing, jewellery and artwork.
Gates are open from 12:30pm, with fans encouraged to be in their seats by 1:45pm ahead of a Welcome to Country performed by Senior Wurundjeri Elder Aunty Joy, followed by the first bounce at 2:10pm.
For those wanting to head to the game, tickets are available here.
