DEMON star Brad Green is a contender to win the Round 15 Hungry Jack’s AFL Mark of the Year.
Green’s nomination came after he took an outstanding contested mark inside 50, leaping in between Essendon duo Michael Hurley and Andrew Welsh during the second quarter of Sunday’s clash at the MCG.
His grab was one of several highlights in a best-on-ground performance, which included five goals.
The versatile Dee also finished with 27 disposals (including 11 contested possessions), nine marks and seven inside 50s.
Green is up against Richmond’s forward Jack Riewoldt and Lion youngster Aaron Cornelius
The voters who have selected the same Hungry Jack's AFL Mark of the Year as the All-Australian Committee at the end of the home-and-away season and entered their details will go into the major prize draw.
