MELBOURNE'S Judd McVee has signed a fresh deal with the club, extending his contract through to the end of 2025.
The 19-year-old, who is in his second season at the club, agreed to terms of a two-year extension on Friday morning, in a move set to excite his teammates and Dees fans alike.
Melbourne List Manager Tim Lamb said the new deal was credit to McVee and the way he has applied himself to the program.
“Judd has shown everyone in the early part of this season that he is a very talented player, who has a really bright future in the game,” Lamb told Melbourne Media.
“His rapid development is a credit to his hard work and everyone involved in our Football Program.
“It is wonderful to have him committed to us until at least the end of 2025 and we are sure with his terrific work ethic, we will see him continue to improve over this time.”
McVee, who made his AFL debut in Round 1 this year, has impressed fans with his composure and skill from the back half of the ground.
McVee follows in the footsteps of Trent Rivers who also inked a new contract earlier in the week.
