MELBOURNE has returned to Casey for its first pre-season session at its home in the East.

The Casey facilities have gone under a redevelopment since the AFL list had last visited the venue, with players treated to a new-look players lounge, deck and meeting room facilities.

The list continues the hard slog towards the Christmas break, with just six sessions remaining until the side returns home for the holidays.
