MELBOURNE has added five players to its Round 15 squad, with Michael Hibberd set to return against the Lions on Sunday.

Hibberd, who missed one week with a collarbone injury, is a certain starter for this weekend’s clash at the Gabba, coming into the side for Josh Wagner who has been omitted.

The Demons have also added Jordan Lewis, Braydon Preuss, Oscar McDonald and Corey Wagner to their extended bench, as those four boys all put themselves in the frame for selection.

McDonald is back in the mix after spending three weeks on the sidelines as he completed a block of training to get his body right for the back-half of the season.

The Dees will have the chance to pick Lewis who impressed with a 39-disposal effort in the VFL last week, as well as Preuss and C.Wagner who have been consistent performers for Casey in 2019.

Those who aren’t selected in the final team, or as a travelling emergency, will line up for the Casey Demons against Box Hill at Casey Fields on Saturday afternoon.

Melbourne’s 26-man squad will be cut on Friday night, as the club announces its final team at 5pm.
