Ben Holland braved cold and windy conditions at St Kilda Beach on Monday to participate in the Peter Mac Celebrity Swim. Ben managed a very respectable second, despite being up against former swimming champions in Daniel Kowalski (the winner) and Nicole Livingstone. Other celebrities to take to the water included Bill Brownless, Damian Monkhorst and current players from other AFL clubs.

Over 800 members of the general public competed in the open swim earlier in the day, raising much needed funds for the lifesaving work conducted at the Peter Mac Cancer Centre. The Peter Mac Cancer centre is the official community partner of the 2007 FINA World Swimming Championships.
