AARON Davey has been named joint vice-captain of the Indigenous All-Stars team to play Richmond at Treager Park in Alice Springs on Friday.

Davey’s appointment follows last week’s accolade, when he was named joint Melbourne vice-captain, along with Brent Moloney and Jared Rivers, to new Demon skipper Brad Green.

The star Demon will join Port Adelaide’s Daniel Motlop as Indigenous All-Stars vice-captain.

Dual Brownlow Medallist and Sydney Swans co-captain Adam Goodes has been named Indigenous All-Stars skipper.

Davey’s Melbourne teammates Liam Jurrah and Jamie Bennell will also represent the Indigenous All-Stars.

The All-Stars will be coached by Michael O’Loughlin, the Swans’ games record holder. Former AFL stars Andrew McLeod and Chris Johnson are the assistant coaches.

The match will start at 7.20pm CST and will be broadcast on ABC1 at 8.30pm ESST.
