A Demons Weekend in Adelaide

Melbourne is gearing up for a big weekend of Demons footy at Adelaide Oval.

The club's AFL program will kick things off with a clash against Port Adelaide on Thursday night, before its AFLW program begins its NAB AFLW Grand Final campaign. 

The big stage will be set for a Saturday battle between the Demons and the Crows, with the first bounce scheduled for 12:00pm (local).

Melbourne is encouraging its fans and supporters to get down to Adelaide Oval to support its AFLW side, with all club AFLW members able to access free entry to the final.

Local eligible members can access a complimentary ticket to the game. If eligible, members will have received an email from the club on Monday 4 April with a barcode to access tickets.

Membership Information

As the league shifts away from physical membership cards, the Demon faithful will now be able to access their membership and scan into games via the Melbourne Football Club app on iPhone and Android devices.

The club is encouraging all members to load their Mobile Membership to their device before arriving at the ground.

Tickets will be available to view in the app 72 hours prior to each home game.

Pop-up Demon Shop in Adelaide 

Adelaide-based Demon fans will be able to get their hands on the latest merchandise, with a pop-up Demon Shop open on Thursday night and Saturday morning. 

The shop will be located at the Eastern Gate of Adelaide Oval, with the below opening times: 

Thursday from 5pm – 8:15pm
Saturday from 9:30am – 1:30pm

Adelaide Oval COVID-Safe practices

Adelaide Oval has worked closely with SA Health and SAPOL to put in place measures to ensure events are as safe as possible.

Those who are double vaccinated will be required to display their COVID-19 Digital Certificate via their smartphone prior to entry. In the case of a valid medical exemption, a certificate of exemption AND a recent negative PCR test result no older than 72 hour, or a negative RAT test conducted at Adelaide Oval, witnessed by an AOSMA employee, will need to be provided.

Arrive early

With the process for admission including more steps in 2022, we are encouraging fans to arrive early to the ground to ensure fans are inside in time for the first bounce.

The entry process will now include QR code check-in and proof of vaccination, security bag checks, scanning of ticket and finding your spot to enjoy the game live.

We encourage supporters to download their ticket prior to their arrival at the game.
