Match Preview

It's been a successful run for both the VFL and VFLW sides lately with the men riding an eight game winning streak ,while the women's winning steak is two.

In wet, windy and horrible conditions, the VFL side adapted extremely well, dominating every facet of the game to defeat North Melbourne by 37 points. Casey kept North goalless with the game finishing 5.14 (44) to 0.7 (7). Their opponents for Sunday, Footscray, were defeated by 43 points by the Box Hill Hawks at Etihad Stadium last weekend.

After successive victories, the VFLW team will be on the road, travelling to Bendigo to take on Richmond at Queen Elizabeth Oval. The women secured their third win of the season last weekend when they defeated the Southern Saints by 11 points at home. Richmond were beaten by just eight points against Essendon in a close affair.
