MELBOURNE’S Tayla Harris has been rewarded for her pivotal performance in Monday night’s win over Brisbane, receiving 10 AFLCA votes.

The star forward registered seven contested marks, equalling the league’s record and pushing her season total to 18.

While her aerial skills were the highlight, Harris’ game in front of goal was also a spectacle, registering two majors and ultimately helping her side to their three-point win.

Captain Daisy Pearce polled five votes for her work down back, a particularly impressive effort following a mid-game position switch.

Pearce started the clash in Melbourne’s forward line but a move to the opposite end of the ground proved to be crucial for the Demons, with her 15-disposal display creating some needed stability in the defensive 50.

Melbourne midfielder Tyla Hanks was the remaining Demon to receive recognition, polling one vote for her 16-disposal game.

Brisbane’s Greta Bodey, Emily Bates and Orla O’Dwyer rounded out the vote-getters for the match.
