THE AFL has confirmed details surrounding Melbourne's Preliminary Final as it locks in Weeks Two and Three of the Toyota AFL Finals Series.

The Demons will play the winner of the second Semi-Final between Geelong and GWS, who are set to face each other on Friday 3 September.

The Preliminary Final will take place at Optus Stadium on Friday 10 September, with Melbourne beginning its quarantine in Perth on Sunday 29 August.

The 7:50pm (AEST) game will be broadcast live nationally on the Seven Network and Fox Footy and streamed live on Kayo.
