ON THE EVE OF MELBOURNE’S Round 18 clash with Hawthorn, the AFL has announced a change to the fixture.
The match at the MCG will now kick off at 7:25pm AEST, as opposed to the twilight start initially scheduled.
This is a result of the St Kilda v Port Adelaide game being moved to earlier in the afternoon, which allows the Power to fly in and out of Melbourne on the same day.
The Demons’ contest will now be broadcast on free-to-air television by Channel Seven, as opposed to Fox Footy.
Due to the state-wide lockdown, the public won’t be permitted to attend matches in Victoria this weekend, with fans set to receive a reimbursement for any tickets purchased.
