Melbourne will challenge Bayley Fritsch’s one-match striking charge at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night.
Fritsch was offered a one match suspension by the Match Review Officer, after he was involved in an incident with North Melbourne player Tom Powell during the second quarter of the Round 7 clash.
In the finding, the Match Review Officer determined that the incident was careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.
An exact time for the hearing is still to be confirmed.
