THE CASEY Demons will head to Whitten Oval on Monday morning, meeting the Western Bulldogs for a VFL practice match at 10.30am.
The hit-out, which will take place prior to Melbourne’s AAMI Community Series clash, will be the first game under appointed coach Mark Corrigan, who signed on late last year.
It will be the second of sorts for other Demons though, after a mix of AFL and VFL players took part in Melbourne’s scratch match against Richmond last week at Casey Fields.
Several of those not selected to take to Marvel Stadium for the Dees’ official pre-season game are expected to line-up in the west.
Fans will be able to get along to both matches, with free entry at the VFL - gates open at 10am and the crowd is restricted to 1,000 people.
Those wishing to attend Marvel Stadium will need to secure their spot by purchasing a ticket through Ticketmaster.
Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs will name their sides for the AAMI Community Series game on Sunday night, with each able to select up to 26 players.
