MELBOURNE has officially launched its Proud to Give Major Auction, with 90 quality items on offer.

The initiative, which is part of the Demons’ Proud to Belong, Proud to Give fundraising program, aims to raise vital funds for the club and address the financial impact of the COVID-19 crisis.

Dees fans will have two weeks to browse and get their bids in – the auction closes on Monday 14 December.

From once-in-a-lifetime experiences to rare memorabilia, the club has made sure to cater to everyone’s needs.

Headlining the offerings is a long lunch with Max Gawn and Christian Petracca, alongside comedians Hamish Blake, Ryan Shelton and Christian O’Connell, while a fishing charter with Steven May and James Harmes for up to 12 people is also set to be popular.

Keen golfers can bid for a round with Angus Brayshaw and Michael Hibberd, fitness fanatics can take part in a bootcamp with High Performance Manager Darren Burgess, and those interested in sports media can enjoy breakfast with Garry Lyon and Mike Sheahan.

Exclusive items up for grabs include a surfboard signed by Mick Fanning, a Brad Hodge players’ edition cricket bat and Marcus Harris’ match-worn Ashes shirt.

With the auction closing at 12pm on Monday week, it’s a great opportunity to secure some unique items, just in time for Christmas.
