SENIOR coach in waiting Simon Goodwin says he is relishing every opportunity to learn from coach Paul Roos.
Goodwin, who will succeed Roos at the end of the 2016 season as senior coach, said he was gaining more responsibilities along the way, before he takes on the top job.
“He’s been terrific in just developing me,” he told Dee TV.
“I’m taking a bit more training than I was and [I’m] helping him with some of the reviews and some of the meetings.
“I’m really working with him closely on game day, in terms of the strategies in the box.
“He’s been a really good mentor and someone I’m learning a lot off. We’ll keep that relationship going, but also develop where I need to go as well.”
