MAX Walker, who played 85 matches for Melbourne and 34 tests for Australia, will be featured in depth on Cricket Legends on Wednesday night.
Walker, who played with Melbourne from 1967-72, before he made his test debut against Pakistan in 1972, played 34 tests for Australia and 17 one day internationals.
His last appearance for Australia came against New Zealand in 1981 in a one day international.
The former ruckman/defender talks about how legendary coach Norm Smith gave him the belief to play at the highest level for Melbourne and how wearing the baggy green shaped his life.
Affectionately known as ‘Tangles’, Walker later became a much-loved media figure.
Walker’s interview with highly-respected sports journalist Robert ‘Crash’ Craddock will be shown on Fox Sports 502 at 8.30pm EDT.
