For the first time this year, MELBOURNEfc has named a side with no 'outs', when it released its preliminary squad of 25 on Thursday night.

Matthew Whelan, Mark Jamar and Shane Valenti have all been included in the squad, named onto the extended bench after impressive performances at Sandringham over the weekend.

The last time these two sides met was at Manuka Oval in Round 18 of last year, and it was the  Swans  who prevailed by 58 points.

The final team is selected at 5:00   pm on Friday afternoon,  after which  the  Club  will exclude three players from the  squad named below .
