The Melbourne Football Club has today delisted Nathan Carroll from its playing list.
The Club has reached a settlement in relation to the final year of Nathan’s playing contract. This amount will be included in the Club’s 2008 TPP.
Melbourne will have seven selections in the 2008 National Draft.
Carroll was initially recruited from Claremont (WA), and came to the Club via the 2001 Rookie Draft. He was elevated to the senior list in 2003, and made his debut in Round Four that year, against Geelong. Carroll played 71 games and, in 2006, finished sixth in the Best and Fairest. He was also awarded the Ron Barassi Jnr Trophy for the Most Improved Player in the same year.
The Melbourne Football Club thanks Nathan for his contribution over seven years, and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.
