EXCITING forward Liam Jurrah is the player most likely to take the mark of the year and kick the goal of the year, according to a poll conducted among the AFL captains.

The AFL asked the club captains for their thoughts on the upcoming 2011 season.

It was the first time the captains were asked which player was most likely to win the goal and mark of the year.

Jurrah was a standout contender for the player most likely to take the best mark with the Northern Territorian also reciving multiple nominations to boot the best goal of 2011. 

The questions were asked at the season launch in Melbourne.

All questions were answered on the proviso that their individual answers would be treated anonymously.
