FORWARD line development coach Paul Satterley runs through the Melbourne-listed players who played in Casey’s win against Northern Blues at Visy Park on Saturday

Matthew Bate: He won a heap of the ball and covered a lot of ground, playing in the midfield. His ability to run hard for the entire game was very good.

Lucas Cook: Lucas played a really good game, took nine marks and was rewarded with three goals, while having many scoring assists. A real positive step forward for Cooky - he will take plenty of confidence out of this performance.

Tom Couch: Tom was not as influential as he has been in previous games. He showed a willingness to work hard both ways and used the ball effectively when he had it.

Aaron Davey: He played in the midfield and displayed his class and experience, using the ball really effectively. More importantly, Flash worked hard both ways, applied pressure when they had it and ran out four quarters.

Troy Davis: He played another solid game in defence. Troy's bodywork was really good in one-on-one contests. He played his role all day.

Jack Fitzpatrick: He played mostly up forward, kicked 1.3 and again showed great athleticism. At times, he used his speed well, but just let himself down in front of goal.

Kelvin Lawrence: Despite not winning much of the ball, Kelvin's pressure up forward was excellent. He kicked a couple of good goals to cap off his game.

Ricky Petterd: Ricky played forward and covered a lot of ground. He attacked the ball and contested with his usual grunt. Ricky kicked a goal to compliment his game.

Jai Sheahan: It was one of Jai's best games for the season. He was instrumental in setting up much of Casey's run from the back half. He also laid a couple of strong tackles and continues to improve each game.

Jake Spencer: Jake rucked most of the game and put himself in positions to be a link-up player. He won most of the hit outs and should now be building his match fitness.

Josh Tynan: Josh played on restricted game time after a lengthy lay off with injury. His touch and attack on the ball was clearly not been impacted. Whatever he did, he did well.
