CONGRATULATIONS to both Nathan Carroll and James Frawley, who, this weekend, mark major milestones in their respective AFL careers.
Having made his senior debut in 2003, Carroll will be playing his 50th career game against the Kangaroos.
Named as Melbourne’s Most Improved Player in Season 2006, and capturing the imagination of the competition with his distinctive appearance, Carroll came from Claremont (WA), and was promoted from Melbourne’s rookie list.
Just starting out, James Frawley will be making his senior debut this weekend. Taken at Pick No. 12 from East Point/North Ballarat U18 by Melbourne in the 2006 NAB AFL National Draft, Frawley has been hailed as a ‘tall athletic defender who has an excellent pedigree….’ (AFL 2007)
Congratulations to both Nathan and James, and best wishes, not only for this game, but for many seasons into the future.
