THE DEES have finalised their jumper numbers for the 2025 AFL season.
The club’s six new players have officially received their inaugural Melbourne guernseys, while two existing Demons have opted to don fresh numbers next year.
Daniel Turner will wear No.10 (formerly No.42), which was worn most recently by club life-member and much-loved Demon, Angus Brayshaw.
Fan favourite Koltyn Tholstrup will move to No.12 (formerly No.39), the guernsey most notably worn by former captain and two-time best and fairest winner, Todd Viney.
Melbourne’s free agent and trade acquisitions Tom Campbell (No.29) and Harry Sharp (No.30) will don the digits of three-time premiership player Hassa Mann and five-time premiership hero John Beckwith, respectively.
Draftees Harvey Langford (No.19), Xavier Lindsay (No.20) and Aidan Johnson (No.42) have all received their first AFL jumpers, alongside Category B rookie Ricky Mentha Jnr (No.39).
Each will add to the guernseys’ rich history, building on the contributions of Ray Biffin (165 games in No.19), Matthew Febey (143 games in No.20), Peter Walsh (104 games in No.42) and Neville Jetta (158 games in No.39).
The remainder of the list will head into the 2025 season with the same numbers from 2024.
