IN THE past week the Club has been inundated and overwhelmed by the support received from the football community during our search for new Major Sponsor.

From supporters of other clubs calling to make donations, to high end companies coming forward as potential sponsors, people everywhere have shown their support for last week’s decision.

President, Don McLardy said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by support from all sectors of the AFL community. Not only from our own members and supporters but also from other clubs.”

“We’ve had several companies come forward as potential sponsors and we’re proud of our decision and this has been vindicated through the support we’ve received.”

The Club welcomes and celebrates Webjet as our new Joint Major Sponsor, but also wants to acknowledge those who irrespective of their financial situation, wanted to support the decision and integrity shown by our Club.

There have been donations made, memberships purchased and sponsorship deals signed all thanks to the generous spirit of the football community.

The support that we have received from other clubs and their supporters is testament to the fact that our love for game unites us all (despite what colours we wear on the weekend!).
