MELBOURNEfc has made two changes ahead of its Round 13 clash against Sydney at Munka Oval.
The side will be bolstered by the return of Matthew Whelan, who has been missing from the line-up since the team's Round Five loss to Carlton. Whelan has put together a string of solid performances at VFL level, and his experience and hardnosed attitude will be an asset against a very competitive Sydney side. Ruckman Mark Jamar also returns to the team, after putting in a strong performance for Sandringham.
Cale Morton and Adem Yze have both been omitted, and will remain emergencies for the match, along with Shane Valenti.
The last time these two sides met was at Manuka Oval in Round 18 of last year, and it was the Swans who prevailed by 58 points.
