Final quarter
Adelaide had the game all wrapped up heading into the last term.

It was simply a case of whether the Demons could reduce the deficit somewhat or how far the Crows?

In the end, just Melbourne booted three goals to two to lose by 69 points in Green’s last match for the red and blue.

Adelaide 22.18 (150) d Melbourne 11.15 (81)

Third quarter
Any thought of a second half comeback by Melbourne was quickly thwarted when Adelaide opened the third term with three consecutive majors to lead by 48 points.

Although Sam Blease and Nathan Jones stemmed the flow with impressive goals, the Crows soon bounced back to break the game apart.

Adelaide kicked 10 goals to three for the quarter, leading by 74 points at the final break.

Ade 20.12 (132) d Melb 8.10 (58)

Second quarter
Taylor Walker kicked his second to start the term and give Adelaide a 16-point buffer.

But the Demons hit back with two in a row, courtesy of Jeremy Howe and Jared Rivers (who kicked his second) to reduce the deficit back to just four points at the 12-minute mark.

However, the Crows soon upped the ante with four in succession, gaining a 31-point lead at half-time.

Ade 10.8 (68) to Melb 5.7 (37)

First quarter

The day got off to a fairytale start for Brad Green, when the retiring Melbourne great kicked the first goal.

Soon Adelaide had three on a board and a 12-point lead, but when Jared Rivers kicked truly and Green landed his second, the Demons were back in front by three points.

But two goals from the Crows in time-on put the visitors up by 11 points at the first break.

Ade 5.3 (33) to Melb 3.4 (22)
