READ and Write Like a Demon (RWLD) ambassador, Colin Garland, is making the most of the pre-season on and off the field. Finding sometime over the Christmas break to relax with a book, Garland decided to write a review for the program’s blog.

The blog is used by participants of the program to post their own book reviews and comment on others.  The opportunity to have their own work published has been a great incentive for the children to increase their reading and practice their writing.  Currently, the blog has been viewed over 80,000 times.

Colin reviewed the book ‘Untouched’ by Laura Hillenbrand summarizing the book as a, “testament to the resilience of the human mind, body, and spirit.”
