MIDFIELDER Jack Trengove has been charged with a second offence for making negligent contact with field umpire.
 
Trengove was charged by the match review panel on Tuesday, after he made contact with field umpire Jacob Mollison during the first quarter of Melbourne’s loss to Collingwood at the MCG on Queen’s Birthday.
 
He can accept an $1800 sanction with an early plea.
 
A second offence for making negligent contact with an umpire is a $2400 sanction. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent.
