Our current partnership with the Victorian Women’s Football League allows us to champion women playing the game in a meaningful way, by providing exciting football experiences.
Melbourne in conjunction with the VWFL offers the opportunity for its players to win the Melbourne Football Club Rising Star Award.
This weekly award is to recognise the committed young women who play our great game, across all four VWFL divisions - Premier, Premier Reserves, North West & South East.
Each week one player from each division will be awarded the Melbourne Rising Star award.
Players will receive a Melbourne footy pack, certificate, and the opportunity to take part in a training session with VWFL ambassadors Brad Green and Matthew Bate.
