LYNDEN Dunn could miss Melbourne's next two matches through suspension after being offered the ban by the match review panel on Monday.

It follows the panel's assessment of an incident during the clash between the Demons and Kangaroos at Etihad Stadium on Saturday where Dunn appeared to drop his knees into the face of North Melbourne defender Daniel Pratt.

Offered a three-match ban by the tribunal, Dunn can have this reduced to two by lodging an early guilty plea (he hasn't been suspended before).

Dunn has until 11am on Tuesday to decide if he will take his case to the tribunal.
