- James McDonald (246 matches): The most capped 2010-listed Demon is also seventh overall for the most games at the club - behind David Neitz (306), Robert Flower (272), Adem Yze (271), Jim Stynes (264), Steven Febey (258) and Brian Dixon (252). He needs only four matches for his next milestone.
- Cameron Bruce (218): The versatile Demon is just four matches ahead of Brad Green, who also made his AFL debut in Melbourne’s most recent grand final year (2000). Along with McDonald, Bruce is the only other 2010 Demon born in the 1970s (1979).
- Brad Green (214): Like Bruce, the Tasmanian-born Green has given Melbourne great service as a utility. The 29-year-old is having his most consistent AFL season in 2010, having booted 37 goals so far - equaling his career-best.
- Aaron Davey (135): There is a significant gap between Melbourne’s three eldest statesmen - McDonald, Bruce and Green - and the next tier. There are 79 matches separating Green and Davey, but just two years between them. Davey has been an outstanding rookie list story.
- Brad Miller (133): The key forward has just slipped behind Davey in overall matches. Although Miller is a month younger than Davey, he debuted two years earlier than his pacy teammate. Again, there is another gap between Davey and Miller and the next group, headed by Brent Moloney (106).
- Brent Moloney (106): The tough-nut midfielder is the only member of this dozen to have played for another club - Geelong. After playing 23 matches with the Cats in his first two years, Moloney has played 83 games for the Demons. Injuries have restricted his tally.
- Jared Rivers (102): The defender cracked the ton against St Kilda in round 14 this year - a fine effort after some injury-riddled seasons. Rivers won the AFL Rising Star in his second season in 2004, but managed just nine matches in 2007-08 due to injuries.
- Colin Sylvia (97): The forward/midfielder is on target to play to become the eighth 2010 Demon to have 100 games under his belt by the end of the season. Sylvia is set to crack the ton against Richmond in round 19.
- Mark Jamar (89): Now in his eighth senior season, the ruckman has been in career-best form this year and is vying for All-Australian selection. Although he played 22 matches in 2006 (he missed round four, but played in the elimination final), he is now on target to complete his first full season in 2010.
- Nathan Jones (86): During his debut season in 2006, Jones played the last eight matches. Since then he has missed just four games - a fine effort over four seasons. Still on 22 years old, the tenacious midfielder has quickly become a durable performer.
- Matthew Bate (82): Like Jones, Bate debuted in 2006, although the No.13 selection in the 2004 NAB AFL Draft was a listed played in 2005. The 23-year-old has played in a variety of positions, but more recently as a forward.
- Clint Bartram (74): The hard-working defender is another Demon to have debuted in 2006. The 22-year-old Bartram was selected at No.60 in the 2005 NAB AFL Draft and has missed just the opening round this season.
