After airing to rave reviews in 2012, ‘Barassi:  The Stage Show’ is set for a stunning return in 2013.

With his place as one of Melbourne’s sons secured in the city’s affections, ‘Barassi:  The Stage Show’ returns to Arts Centre Melbourne from 23 April.

Starring Christopher Connelly as the super coach and legendary player, with Chris Asimos featuring as the young star, the lineup also features former Melbourne high flyer, Russell Robertson.  A newcomer to the stage, ‘Robbo’ is a highlight of the show.  He realises the special nature of the show, saying ‘It’s an honour to be in a play about the greatest name in Australian football, especially as a football person myself.  I’m really thrilled by the opportunity to be part of it.’

One of those who is looking forward to attending ‘Barassi’ this year is Hassa Mann, a contemporary of the man himself.  ‘Having played alongside Ron in such a great era, I look forward with anticipation to seeing the story.  It should be a wonderful experience.’

You too can be part of ‘Barassi:  The Stage Show’.  Melbourne members have the chance, between now and 22 April, of obtaining a substantial discount on tickets.  By quoting ‘Ronnie’ when you book, save $20 off each ticket purchased.  Be quick to take advantage of this special offer – only available until 22 April.  Tickets are available from ticketmaster.com.au or the Arts Centre Box Office, on 1300 182 183.
