KEY forward Mitch Clark has thanked the Melbourne members and supporters for their support as he makes his comeback from a serious foot injury.

Clark said on the club’s Twitter than he was delighted to gain the support of the red and blue faithful as he prepares to return to AFL next year.

“Thanks to everyone for their support during my rehab and thanks to all our members and supporters for sticking with us #clarktakeover,” he said.

“Been back running for 3 weeks now. Aim is to be back in skills by the end of the season to set myself up for a big preseason #clarktakeover”

Clark played the opening four matches of the season, before his foot injury ended his year.

He has played 15 matches for the Demons and 97 AFL games.
