ON THURSDAY 16 May, our players will be calling as many junior members as possible simply to say thanks for their loyalty. Whether they want to talk about AFL, their own football or even how many pets they have, the players will be there to listen and give back.
Our junior supporter base is the future of the Club. We have heard from parents how hard it’s been to keep their child loyal to the Club this year, and while we wait for on field success, we will be doing everything we can off the field to keep our Young Demons engaged.
Unfortunately, we won’t get to touch base with every junior member on the night, so if your child is interested in receiving a call from a player, please let us know and we will place you on a priority calling list, by:

o Direct message us on Twitter or Facebook
Please include your current contact details, child’s name and DOB or member number - and then stand by the phone between 5.30 pm and 7.00 pm on 16 May.
If you would like to renew or join up a junior member on the night, players will be accepting calls. Simply call 1300 DEMONS (336 667) between 5.30 pm and 7 pm.
The Club has a number of other initiatives that focus on engaging with our junior supporter base, such as:
- Kids’ website www.deezone.com.au which includes a free welcome pack, games, interactive content, Read Like a Demon Book Club, competitions and more
- Junior clinics with the players on 2 July - school holidays
- Guernsey giveaway to children aged 1 – 6 years in the City of Casey
- Line the MCG and cheer on the players as they run through the banner in the Guard of Honour
- Run up the players’ race and through the banner with the entire team as the Junior Mascot
