12. Colin Sylvia
Colin has had a strong pre-season. He has shone in all areas of football and his strength work in the gym has been outstanding. Col has been one of the clear leaders in the midfield throughout the pre-season period. – Brian Royal
13. Jordie McKenzie
Jordie has been elite in all areas of his performance. He has been a standout with his preparation and recovery, which will keep him in good stead for the coming season. – Brian Royal
14. Lynden Dunn
Lynden’s in outstanding condition. His body composition is probably as good as it’s been throughout his career. He’s really capitalised on a strong finish to the 2012 season with how he’s approached his summer. Lynden had some slight hamstring tightness, which restricted his training for two weeks before Christmas, but he has been very positive about his rehabilitation. – Jade Rawlings
15. David Rodan
David came to Melbourne from Port Adelaide during the trade period. He has 176 AFL matches to his name, so he adds plenty of experience to the group. David has fitted in very comfortably and his leadership has been outstanding. His football work, particularly in stoppage training has been very strong. We’re really looking forward to having David as part of our midfield team in 2013. – Brian Royal
17. Sam Blease
Sam came back in really good shape. He’s been training well and has completed the majority of sessions. His speed and kicking have been a highlight throughout the pre-season. – Leigh Brown
