Change reinvigorates Vince
Vince says the move to Melbourne has given him a new lease on life
“The general fitness and running standards is really good. To have 10 or more guys run under 10 minutes in the 3 kilometre trial was a great surprise.”
At 28 years of age and with 129 games under his belt, Vince says the change of club and city has given him a new lease on life.
“Making the move over from Adelaide to Melbourne has made me feel young again! I feel like a young draftee ready to go. I’m straight in to really good training habits; I’m feeling fit and haven’t missed any training.”
“Fingers crossed we can transfer the momentum from training and our fitness levels in to winning some games for the Melbourne Football Club.”
The fitness level of the playing group wasn’t the only thing that surprised Vince, sarcastically adding that Jack Trengove’s good looks, Nathan Jones’ bald head and Jimmy Toumpas’ beard had all been personal highlights for him so far.
