MIDFIELDER Brent Moloney has been welcomed back into the club’s leadership group and will return to his role as vice-captain.

Moloney was reinstated after the leadership group consisting of captain Brad Green, vice captains Jared Rivers and Aaron Davey, and members Nathan Jones and Jack Grimes recommended his return to the role of vice-captain.

The playing group unanimously agreed with the recommendation and the decision was ratified by the senior management of the club this week.

Moloney has been among Melbourne’s best performers this season.
