THE AFL HAS ANNOUNCED that fans will not be permitted to attend Saturday night's AFL Women's match against Melbourne and Carlton at TIO Traeger Park.
The decision, which impacts all competition games from Saturday, was made on Friday afternoon, in an attempt to minimise the spread of COVID-19.
The Demons will now only play in front of essential club officials, AFL officials, broadcast teams, media and required venue staff.
More updates will be provided as they come to light.
As of Saturday March 14, NAB AFLW matches will only host players, coaches, essential club officials, umpires, AFL officials, broadcast teams, media & required venue staff with no supporters permitted to attend.
