THE CLUB would like to thank all of our members and supporters for attending the game at the MCG last night.

At 6:00pm last night the stadium's access control system experienced a major issue which interrupted the scanning of Melbourne FC members' barcodes, preventing access to the stadium. Unfortunately this problem was completely out of the Club's hands and MFC staff worked hard with the ticketing agent and the stadium to resolve the issue as quickly as we could. The problem was identified immediately, however was not rectified until 6:45pm.

We are extremely disappointed that this issue occurred and the Club sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused to our members as they arrived at the stadium for the game. We have requested a full review of the issue and will be working very closely with the stadium and ticketing agent to ensure that this issue does not reoccur.
