Spencer has been sidelined since early May last year when he sustained a knee injury for the Scorpions.
After starting the 2012 season on the long-term injury list, football manager Josh Mahoney said the 203cm tall would make a welcome return to the game.
“It’s great to have Jake Spencer back available for selection,” he said.
“Jake has worked extremely hard in his rehab after missing 12 months with an ACL.
“We’re looking forward to have him back playing football.”
Spencer has played eight matches since making his debut in 2009.
Casey is playing Bendigo at Casey Fields this Sunday at 2pm.
