First draft selection: No.13
Unsigned free agents: Patrick Dangerfield (restricted)
Delistings/retirements: Brodie Martin, Jack Osborn, James Podsiadly, Brent Reilly, Sam Siggins, Anthony Wilson
Who else is going?
Patrick Dangerfield has signaled his intention to join Geelong, a move that will almost certainly be facilitated via a trade given the Crows' apparent preparedness to match any free agency offer. Midfielder Cam Ellis-Yolmen is likely to explore rival interest this trade period after struggling for senior opportunities in the second half of 2015.
Who's coming?
The Crows are likely to receive the Cats' first-round pick, No.9 overall, in a package deal for Dangerfield and, possibly, their 2016 first-round pick. Reports have also suggested Adelaide is interested in South Australian speedster Jordan Murdoch as part of any deal but he is contracted to the end of 2018 and, at this stage, unlikely to agree to a move. Greater Western Sydney defender Curtly Hampton has requested a trade to Adelaide, while the Crows are one of several clubs circling Collingwood half-back Paul Seedsman, and have been linked with out-of-contract Western Bulldogs defender Michael Talia.
First draft selection: No.2
Unsigned free agents: Matthew Leuenberger (restricted)
Delistings/retirements: Jed Adcock, Jordon Bourke, Mitch Golby, Matt Maguire, Luke McGuane, Brent Staker
Who else is going?
Ruckman Matthew Leuenberger is set to leave as a free agent, with Essendon and the Sydney Swans his most likely new homes ahead of Fremantle. Jack Redden has requested a trade despite being contracted for 2016, and has nominated West Coast as his preferred new club. Out-of-contract midfielder James Aish has yet to inform the Lions of his post-2015 plans, but rival clubs suspect he will remain at the Gabba unless he can get to Collingwood in the trade period. The Western Bulldogs recently expressed interest in Stefan Martin, but the Lions are adamant the ruckman will serve the remaining year of his contract.
Who's coming?
Contracted Carlton midfielder Tom Bell is keen to return home to Queensland for family reasons and wants to join the Lions. The Lions are also keenly interested in contracted Richmond defender David Astbury, and it's believed they will explore whether one of the Eagles ruck duo Callum Sinclair and Scott Lycett can be involved in the Redden trade. But the Lions have decided not to pursue Hawthorn defender Matthew Suckling despite showing strong interest in the unrestricted free agent earlier this year. Fellow Hawk Brendan Whitecross is also on the Lions' radar, but not via free agency as they don't want to lessen the value of any compensation pick they receive for Leuenberger.
First draft selection: No.1
Unsigned free agents: Dennis Armfield
Delistings/retirements: Andrew Carrazzo, David Ellard, Cameron Giles, Blaine Johnson, Chris Judd, Fraser Russell, Matthew Watson
Who else is going?
Key-position player Lachie Henderson has requested a trade to Geelong, but those negotiations could be drawn out given the Cats are likely to have their hands full finalising a trade for Patrick Dangerfield with Adelaide. It was widely believed the Cats were prepared to give up a first-round pick for Henderson, but their 2015 first-round pick will now almost certainly be included in any Dangerfield deal. Contracted defender Chris Yarran is also set to join Richmond via a trade, but those negotiations could also drag on with the Tigers' first-round pick unlikely to be on the table.
Who's coming?
The Blues remain in a three-club race for Essendon tall Jake Carlisle, along with St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs. Brisbane Lions midfielder James Aish could still be on Carlton's radar, while list manager Stephen Silvagni is eyeing youngsters struggling for opportunities at his former club Greater Western Sydney, particularly Liam Sumner, Jed Lamb, Lachie Plowman and Andrew Phillips.Geelong forward Josh Walker has been floated as a possible part of any Henderson trade.
First draft selection: No.7
Unsigned free agents: None
Delistings/retirements: Tony Armstrong, Sam Dwyer, Patrick Karnezis, Lachie Keeffe, Michael Manteit, Josh Thomas, Clinton Young
Who else is going?
FormerNo.10 draft pick Nathan Freeman has requested a trade to St Kilda after failing to play a senior game in two seasons with the Magpies, while out-of-contract defender Paul Seedsman also looks set to depart the Holden Centre, with Gold Coast, North Melbourne and Adelaide and all circling.
Who's coming?
The Pies beat off spirited competition from Richmond and North Melbourne to be nominated as Adam Treloar's preferred new club, but will likely have to part with their 2015 first-round draft pick and a 2016 pick (probably second-round) for the star Giants youngster. Collingwood is widely suspected to be the preferred destination of out-of-contract Brisbane Lions midfielder James Aish, but it remains unclear if the Magpies will make a serious play for the South Australian in the trade period.

First draft selection: No.4
Unsigned free agents: Courtenay Dempsey, Brent Stanton, Tayte Pears
Delistings/retirements: Kurt Aylett, Paul Chapman, Lauchlan Dalgleish, Dustin Fletcher, Jason Winderlich
Who else is going?
Swingman Jake Carlisle has requested a trade but has yet to indicate which of his three suitors, St Kilda, Carlton and Western Bulldogs, is his preferred destination. Midfielder Jake Melksham has also requested a trade to Melbourne.
Who's coming?
The Bombers are looking to provide Tom Bellchambers with more support in the ruck and have been targeting Brisbane Lions free agent Matthew Leuenberger and out-of-contract Gold Coast Sun Zac Smith. However, it appears the Bombers have fallen behind in the race for Smith, who is now believed to favour a move to Geelong or the Sydney Swans. Essendon's main competitors for Leuenberger's signature are the Swans.
First draft selection: No.16*
Unsigned free agents: Ryan Crowley, Paul Duffield, Matthew Pavlich
Delistings/retirements: Luke McPharlin, Colin Sylvia
Who else is going?
Captain Matthew Pavlich is widely expected to retire while the futures of Paul Duffield, 30, and Ryan Crowley, 31, remain clouded.
Who's coming?
The Dockers are making the early running for Harley Bennell and appear to be in the box seat to secure the WA-born Gold Coast speedster after the Tigers pulled out of the race on Sunday. The Dockers are believed to have inquired about out-of-contract Melbourne utility Jeremy Howe, but their interest in Brisbane Lions ruckman Matthew Leuenberger has cooled. Freo's bid to snare contracted Giants key forward Cam McCarthy has hit a major snag, with GWS so far refusing to entertain a trade. McCarthy's manager is adamant his client will continue to push for a move home but he is contracted until the end of 2017, so the Giants appear to hold all the cards.
First draft selection: No.9
Unsigned free agents: Dawson Simpson
Delistings/retirements: Sam Blease, Brad Hartman, Steve Johnson, James Kelly, Hamish McIntosh, Jared Rivers, Mathew Stokes, James Toohey
Who else is going?
Ruckman Dawson Simpson is likely on the way out after playing just 28 games in eight injury-plagued seasons, with several rival clubs showing interest in the 26-year-old. Forward Josh Walker could leave as part of a trade for Carlton swingman Lachie Henderson. South Australian speedster Jordan Murdoch has been raised as a possible target of Adelaide in any Patrick Dangerfield trade, but he is contracted to the end 2018 and, at this stage, unlikely to agree to a move.
Who's coming?
Restricted free agent Patrick Dangerfield has nominated Geelong as his preferred new home, but the Cats will almost certainly have to trade for him given the Crows' apparent preparedness to match any free agency offer. They will likely have to part with (1) their 2015 first-round pick and (2) a 2016 pick (probably first-round) and/or a player. Carlton key-position player Lachie Henderson has requested a trade to Geelong, but the Dangerfield negotiations will complicate the Cats' efforts to satisfy the Blues' trade demands. The Cats are also pursuing out-of-contract Gold Coast ruckman Zac Smith and are set to acquire West Coast vice-captain Scott Selwood as a restricted free agent.
First draft selection: No.3
Unsigned free agents: None
Delistings/retirements: Greg Broughton, Tyrone Downie, Jarred Ellis, Josh Hall, Louis Herbert, Andrew Raines, Timmy Sumner
Who else is going?
Spearhead Charlie Dixon has requested a trade to Port Adelaide, but the Suns want more than the first-round pick the Power have offered. Midfielder Harley Bennell will also be traded, with Fremantle and Richmond the early frontrunners for his signature. Out-of-contract ruckman Zac Smith is also likely to leave and is believed to favour a move to Geelong or the Sydney Swans, over fellow suitor Essendon.
Who's coming?
Gold Coast has met Paul Seedsman but faces stiff competition for the out-of-contract Collingwood defender from North Melbourne and Adelaide. The Suns also have out-of-contract Melbourne utility Jeremy Howe on their radar.
First draft selection: No.8
Unsigned free agents: None
Delistings/retirements: TBC
Who else is going?
Young midfield star Adam Treloar has requested a trade to Collingwood, with the Giants likely to get the Pies' first-round pick this year and a 2016 pick (probably second-round). Defender Curtly Hampton has also requested a trade to Adelaide, while Liam Sumner, Jed Lamb, Lachie Plowman and Andrew Phillips have all been linked to Carlton. But the Giants have been adamant, so far, that they won't trade West Australian spearhead Cam McCarthy to Fremantle.
Who's coming?
The Giants will need to bank any picks acquired from the above proposed trades to use on highly rated academy players Jacob Hopper and Matthew Kennedy, who are expected to attract first-round bids from rival clubs. Having acquired mature-age recruits such as Shane Mumford, Heath Shaw, Ryan Griffen and Joel Patfull in recent seasons, GWS is unlikely to go down the same path this year.
First draft selection: No.18*
Unsigned free agents: Matthew Suckling, Brendan Whitecross
Delistings/retirements: TBC
Who else is going?
Veterans David Hale and Brian Lake could retire or be delisted after the Grand Final, while out-of-contract key-position player Ryan Schoenmakers has been linked with the Sydney Swans. Matthew Suckling was heavily courted by the Brisbane Lions earlier this season, but the Lions have since ruled out making a play for the defender. Suckling has attracted the interest of several other rival clubs, but is scheduled to hold talks with the Hawks next week. Brendan Whitecross could seek greater opportunity elsewhere, with the Lions believed to have some interest in the utility.
Who's coming?
Chief executive Stuart Fox said the Hawks were likely to be pretty quiet this trade period, but rival clubs suspect they could yet make a play for out-of-contract Brisbane Lions midfielder James Aish.
First draft selection: No.6
Unsigned free agents: Colin Garland (restricted)
Delistings/retirements: Rohan Bail, Daniel Cross, Mark Jamar, Jack Fitzpatrick, Jordie McKenzie, Aidan Riley
Who else is going?
Out-of-contract utility Jeremy Howe remains in discussions with Melbourne but is understood to have attracted interest from rival clubs including Fremantle and Gold Coast, with a decision on his football future likely to be made soon. Defender Colin Garland is expected to re-sign with the Demons soon, but out-of-contract midfielder Jimmy Toumpas has attracted preliminary interest from Port Adelaide.
Who's coming?
The Demons look set to snare out-of-contract Essendon midfielder Jake Melksham on a four-year deal worth about $400,000 a season, with the trade expected to cost them their second-round pick. Melbourne has been in the market for a big-name midfielder all year, reportedly making unsuccessful plays this year for Gold Coast's Dion Prestia and Swan Dan Hannebery. Some rival clubs suspect the Dees still have a high-profile target in their sights. Contracted Collingwood forward Ben Kennedy has also been linked to a move to AAMI Park.
First draft selection: No.15*
Unsigned free agents: Michael Firrito
Delistings/retirements: Leigh Adams, Nathan Grima, Scott McMahon, Eric Wallace, Max Warren
Who else is going?
Kieran Harper, Brad McKenzie, Daniel Currie and Majak Daw survived North's initial batch of delistings, but their futures remained clouded. Veteran defender Michael Firrito is likely to play on in 2016 after being offered a new one-year deal this week, while small forward Robin Nahas is also close to re-signing for next season.
Who's coming?
North has met with Paul Seedsman but is one of four clubs chasing the out-of-contract Collingwood defender, with Gold Coast and Adelaide also in the race. The Roos are seriously considering whether to make a play for Gold Coast midfielder Harley Bennell.
First draft selection: No.10
Unsigned free agents: None
Delistings/retirements: Kane Cornes, Daniel Flynn, Mitch Harvey, Tom Logan, Jarrad Redden, Sam Russell, Mason Shaw, Johann Wagner
Who else is going?
Prospective 2016 free agent Hamish Hartlett attracted significant interest from Victorian clubs last week, but is set to sign a new deal soon that will bind him to Alberton Oval for the long-term. Midfielder Aaron Young is likely to explore opportunities at rival clubs after struggling to establish himself in Port's senior team.
Who's coming?
Out-of-contract Gold Coast spearhead Charlie Dixon has requested a trade to Port, but the Suns want more than the first-round pick the Power have initially offered. Port might have to throw in a 2016 pick (possibly second-round) to clinch the deal. The Power have also expressed preliminary interest in out-of-contract Melbourne midfielder Jimmy Toumpas.
First draft selection: No.12
Unsigned free agents: None
Delistings/retirements: Matt Arnot, Nathan Foley, Chris Newman, Chris Knights, Matt McDonough, Ricky Petterd
Who else is going?
Contracted defender David Astbury has attracted keen interest from the Brisbane Lions after spending most of this season in the VFL. The 24-year-old is contracted to the end of 2016, but after overcoming his past injury problems he played just four games this year. With Alex Rance and Troy Chaplin seemingly entrenched in Richmond's key defensive posts, Astbury is believed to favour a fresh start, but the Tigers, for the moment, are maintaining he is a required player.
Who's coming?
The Tigers met with Gold Coast's Harley Bennell on Wednesday, but ruled themselves out of the race on Sunday. Fremantle is now the early frontrunner for 2010's No.2 draft pick, although a host of other clubs are considering entering the race. Richmond appears to be the only serious suitor for contracted Carlton defender Chris Yarran, but the Blues will likely drive a hard bargain for 2008's No.6 draft pick.
First draft selection: No.5
Unsigned free agents: None
Delistings/retirements: Daniel Markworth, Tom Simpkin, Arryn Siposs, Adam Schneider, Spencer White
Who else is going?
Veteran Farren Ray remains uncontracted and the Saints probably won't make a call on his future until after the trade period.
Who's coming?
Essendon tall Jake Carlisle will be the Saints' main trade target. The Bombers have indicated they will ask for St Kilda's first-round draft pick for the swingman, but the Saints will almost certainly look to satisfy the Bombers with another deal, possibly involving their 2016 first-round pick. Collingwood midfielder Nathan Freeman has also requested a trade to Seaford, a deal that could involve the Saints' second-round pick.
First draft selection: No.14*
Unsigned free agents: None
Delistings/retirements: Adam Goodes, Rhyce Shaw
Who else is going?
Lewis Jetta has requested a trade back home to Western Australia and is almost certain to join West Coast. Midfielder Craig Bird is contracted to the end of 2016, but is open to a trade after struggling for senior opportunities this year.
Who's coming?
The Swans have been circling Brisbane Lions ruckman Matthew Leuenberger for some months and are now a realistic chance of snaring the restricted free agent given their 2015 trade restrictions have been loosened to allow them to sign a player on up to $450,000 a season provided a Swan of similar value (Jetta) leaves. However, Jetta's proposed move to West Coast might have switched the Swans' search for a ruckman in another direction. The Swans are believed to have asked whether one of the Eagles' back-up ruckmen, Callum Sinclair or Scott Lycett, could be involved in the Jetta trade. Key-position players Ryan Schoenmakers (Hawthorn) and, to a lesser extent, Michael Talia (Western Bulldogs) have also been linked with the Swans.
First draft selection: No.17*
Unsigned free agents: Patrick McGinnity, Scott Selwood (restricted)
Delistings/retirements: Beau Waters
Who else is going?
Vice-captain Scott Selwood seems almost certain to join Geelong as a restricted free agent, although the Eagles have signalled they could force the Cats into a trade by matching any offer. Support ruck duo Callum Sinclair and Scott Lycett are suddenly in hot demand, with the Sydney Swans and Brisbane Lions both interested in involving one of the pair in their upcoming trade discussions with the Eagles on Lewis Jetta and Jack Redden.
Who's coming?
Lewis Jetta has nominated West Coast as his preferred new home after deciding to return home to Western Australia. Contracted Brisbane Lions midfielder Jack Redden also wants to join the Eagles, but Lions coach Justin Leppitsch said he had not given up hope of convincing the prospective 2016 free agent to stay at the Gabba.
First draft selection: No.11
Unsigned free agents: Jarrad Grant
Delistings/retirements: Ayce Cordy, Sam Darley, Matthew Fuller, Brett Goodes, Jordan Kelly, Daniel Pearce
Who else is going?
Out-of-contract key defender Michael Talia is set to leave the Kennel after the Bulldogs asked the AFL integrity unit to investigate whether he divulged game-sensitive information to brother and Adelaide defender Daniel ahead of the clubs' elimination final clash last month. Talia has been linked to Adelaide and the Sydney Swans. Jarrad Grant's future remains clouded despite his solid form in 2015. The Bulldogs have been slow to offer him a new contract, while a serious rival suitor has also yet to emerge.
Who's coming?
Essendon's Jake Carlisle is back on the Dogs' radar but they are believed to trail St Kilda and Carlton in the race for the swingman, who has yet to nominate his preferred club. The Bulldogs were recently in the market for a ruckman, but their interest in the contracted Stefan Martin was rebuffed by the Brisbane Lions and they elected not to pursue Carlton big man Matthew Kreuzer after putting him through a medical test.
* These selections could be pushed one spot down the draft order if Adelaide is awarded a compensation pick for restricted free agent Patrick Dangerfield
